Lumbini Province

Lumbini Province is one of the seven provinces in Nepal. It is located in the southwestern part of the country and covers an area of 22,288 square kilometers. The province was formed in 2015 after the adoption of the new constitution of Nepal and is named after Lumbini, the birthplace of the Buddha, which is located in the province.
