This trek, organized by Destination Nepal Tours and Travels, begins with a warm welcome at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. After a day of relaxation or trek preparation, your adventure kicks off with a scenic drive to the charming village of Syabrubesi.

On the second day, the trek officially starts as you hike from Syabrubesi through lush forests and alongside cascading rivers to reach Lama Hotel. This part of the trail is a blend of natural beauty and tranquility. The following day, the trail ascends to Langtang Village, a historic settlement offering breathtaking views of the Langtang Range.

From Langtang Village, the trek leads to Kyanjin Gompa, a spiritual haven surrounded by snow-capped peaks. Here, you can immerse yourself in the serene beauty of the Himalayas and explore the local monastery. For the adventurous, the next day includes a hike to Kyanjin Ri, a viewpoint providing panoramic views of the Langtang region. After soaking in the majestic sights, you’ll descend to Lama Hotel for the night.

The final trekking day takes you back to Syabrubesi, where you’ll conclude the trekking portion of the journey. A scenic drive brings you back to Kathmandu, where you’ll be treated to a delightful Nepali dinner with a cultural program at a traditional restaurant. This memorable evening is the perfect way to celebrate your trek.

Upon your arrival in Kathmandu, our representative will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. You can spend the rest of the day exploring the city or resting to get acclimatized to the high altitude.

Begin your Langtang trek with a scenic drive after breakfast, heading north from Kathmandu Valley. You'll travel along the Prithvi Highway, following the picturesque banks of the Trishuli River. Upon reaching the small town of Dhunche, continue your journey through terraced landscapes and charming villages, all while enjoying breathtaking views of Ganesh Himal, until you arrive at Syabrubesi.

Distance: Approximately 11.3 kilometers (7 miles)

On this day, your trekking adventure leads you into Langtang National Park, Nepal's first Himalayan National Park established in 1976. As you trek along the Bhote Koshi and Langtang Rivers, you'll pass through lush rhododendron and oak forests. The trail ascends to Rimche at 2,400 meters (7,874 ft), offering scenic views along the way. Continuing through bamboo forests by the Langtang River, you'll arrive at Lama Hotel, where you'll rest for the night. Accommodation:

Distance: Approximately 11 kilometers (6.8 miles)

Today’s trek takes you to one of the main highlights of the Langtang trek. After breakfast, you'll hike through dense forests with clear views of Langtang Lirung, eventually arriving at Ghoda Tabela (3,000 meters/9,842 feet). Continuing your journey, you'll reach Chyamki Village (3,230 meters/10,597 feet). As you trek further, passing by mani walls, prayer wheels, and chortens, you will arrive at Langtang Village.

Distance: Approximately 7 kilometers (4.3 miles)

Today’s trek is short but filled with stunning scenery. Departing from Langtang Village, you'll follow an ascending trail towards the traditional settlement of Mundu. As you trek, you'll cross small plateaus, pass mani walls, glacial rivers, and yak pastures. The trail gradually leads you to Kyanjin Gompa, where you can visit a government-run cheese factory to sample or purchase delicious yak cheese.

Distance: Approximately 18-20 kilometers (11-12.4 miles)

On this day’s trekking adventure, you'll ascend to Kyanjin Ri, the viewpoint of the Langtang region, for a breathtaking sunrise. From this vantage point, you'll be rewarded with stunning views of Langtang Lirung, Langtang Glacier, Changbu, Yubra, Tserko Peak, Tsergo Ri, Naya Kanga, and Kangja La Himal. After taking in these magnificent sights, you'll hike back down to Kyanjin Gompa for breakfast. Then, begin your descent, trekking past Langtang Village and continuing all the way to Lama Hotel.

Distance: Approximately 11.3 kilometers (7 miles)

On the last day of your Langtang Trek, you will begin your descent to Syabrubesi after breakfast. You’ll follow the trails along the Langtang River, passing through beautiful landscapes and crossing both the Bhote Koshi River and the Langtang River. Upon reaching Syabrubesi, you’ll board a comfortable vehicle for your journey back to Kathmandu, enjoying the same scenic views you saw on the first day.
