Your journey continues with a stop at the Seti Gorge, known for its deep river canyon and white water, followed by a trip to the famous Davis Fall—a unique underground waterfall. Nearby, you’ll visit the sacred Gupteshwore Mahadev Cave, a natural cave that houses a revered shrine of Lord Shiva. Afterward, enjoy a relaxing boat ride to Tal Barahi Temple, which is located on a small island in the middle of Phewa Lake, one of Pokhara’s most serene spots. The day concludes with an evening visit to the World Peace Stupa, where panoramic views of Pokhara and the Himalayas provide a peaceful end to your Pokhara experience.
The next morning, after a hearty breakfast, the tour takes you to Chitwan National Park, Nepal’s most famous wildlife reserve. Depending on the location of your resort, you’ll have the option of choosing between an Elephant Safari or a Jeep Safari, both offering opportunities to see Bengal tigers, rhinos, and various species of birds in their natural habitats. You will also be treated to a Tharu Village tour, where you’ll learn about the lifestyle and culture of the local Tharu people. In the evening, enjoy the vibrant Tharu Cultural Dance, which showcases the traditional dance and music of the region.
After a night in Chitwan, the next morning will start with breakfast, and then you’ll drive back to Kathmandu. The final day of your tour is dedicated to exploring some of the Kathmandu Valley’s most significant UNESCO World Heritage Sites. You will visit Bhaktapur Durbar Square, known for its stunning architecture and historic palaces. Then, make your way to the Boudhanath Stupa, one of the largest stupas in the world and a key pilgrimage site for Buddhists. The day continues with a visit to the sacred Pashupatinath Temple, one of the holiest Hindu temples dedicated to Lord Shiva.

The Kathmandu, Pokhara, and Chitwan tour can be enjoyed year-round, but each season offers different highlights in terms of weather, activities, and festivals. Here's a breakdown for all four seasons:
Spring (March to May)
Weather: Spring is warm and pleasant, with temperatures ranging from 16°C to 30°C (61°F to 86°F) across Kathmandu, Pokhara, and Chitwan. Clear skies make it perfect for sightseeing and mountain views.
Highlights: This is a great season for exploring temples, taking boat rides in Pokhara, and going on wildlife safaris in Chitwan. Rhododendrons bloom in the countryside, adding vibrant colors to the landscapes
Festivals: Holi (Festival of Colors): Celebrated in March, it’s an exciting time for visitors to enjoy the festive spirit across the country. Bisket Jatra (Nepalese New Year): This ancient celebration takes place in Bhaktapur in April, marking the Nepali New Year with chariot processions and rituals.
Summer (June to August)
Weather: Summer is the monsoon season in Nepal. While temperatures are warm (ranging from 20°C to 35°C / 68°F to 95°F), there is heavy rainfall, especially in Pokhara and Chitwan, which can affect travel plans. Kathmandu is relatively drier but still receives periodic rains.
Highlights: The rain transforms the landscape, making it lush and green, which is especially scenic in Chitwan National Park. However, landslides may occur in hilly areas, and some trekking paths may become muddy. This is the off-season, so you can enjoy fewer crowds and lower prices.
Festivals: Ropain Festival: This unique festival, celebrated in June or July, marks the beginning of the rice-planting season. Locals engage in playful mud fights and dancing. Janai Purnima: In August, this Hindu festival is observed by the Brahmin and Chhetri communities, during which men wear sacred threads.
Autumn (September to November)
Weather: This is the best time for the tour, with clear skies and temperatures ranging from 15°C to 28°C (59°F to 82°F). The air is fresh after the monsoon, and the views of the Himalayas are stunning.
Highlights: Perfect for sightseeing in Kathmandu and Pokhara, and for safaris in Chitwan. Travelers will also enjoy the cultural richness of the festivals during this period.
Festivals: Dashain (September-October): This is the biggest festival in Nepal, celebrated nationwide. It involves family gatherings, animal sacrifices, and worship of goddess Durga. Tihar (October-November): Known as the Festival of Lights, Tihar is celebrated with lights, decorations, and reverence for animals like crows, dogs, and cows.
Winter (December to February)
Weather: Winter is cold, with temperatures ranging from 4°C to 20°C (39°F to 68°F). Kathmandu and Pokhara experience cooler weather, while Chitwan remains relatively warmer. Snowfall can occur in higher altitudes, but not in these cities.
Highlights: While mornings and evenings can be chilly, the days are generally clear and pleasant, making it a good time for sightseeing and jungle safaris. This is also a quieter season, ideal for those seeking a more peaceful experience.
Festivals: Maghe Sankranti (January): This festival marks the end of the winter solstice and is celebrated with feasting and bonfires. Losar (February): Celebrated by the Tibetan Buddhist communities in Kathmandu, it marks the Tibetan New Year with traditional dances and rituals.
Each season offers unique experiences on this tour, with the autumn and spring seasons being the most popular due to their ideal weather and vibrant cultural celebrations.
