Banke National Park
Banke National Park (BaNP), located in the Lumbini region of Nepal, was established on 12th July 2010. Covering an area of 550 km² with an additional 343 km² buffer zone, the park connects to Bardiya National Park to the west. The core area of Banke National Park is in the Banke District, while its northern boundary touches Dang and Salyan districts.
The park is home to several protected species, including the tiger, striped hyena, and four-horned antelope. The park features a wide range of ecosystems, such as mixed hardwood forests, Sal forests, Bhabar, and the foothills of the Chure range.
Access: One hour drive from Nepalganj to the park’s head office
