Thanks for using our products and services (“Services”). The Services are provided by Destination Nepal Tours and Travels Pvt. Ltd. (“DNTT”), located at Thamel (Jyatha), Nepal. The domain name https://dntt.com.np/ (hereinafter referred to as "website" or "DNTT”) is owned by Destination Nepal Tours and Travels Pvt. Ltd. a company incorporated under the Companies Act, 2006. DNTT's registration number is 58467/066/067. The term 'You' refers to the user or viewer of the website.
Your use of the Website and services and tools are governed by the following terms and conditions ("Terms of Use") as applicable to the Website including the applicable policies which are incorporated herein by way of reference. If you transact on the Website, You shall be subject to the policies that are applicable to the Website for such transaction. By mere use of the Website, You shall be contracting with Destination Nepal Tours and Travels Pvt Ltd and these terms and conditions including the policies constitute your binding obligations, with DNTT. The use of this website is subject to the following terms of use:

- Your use of any information or materials on this website is entirely at your own risk, for which we shall not be liable. It shall be your own responsibility to ensure that any products, services or information available through this website meet your specific requirements.
- This website contains material which is owned by or licensed to us. This material includes, but is not limited to, the design, layout, look, appearance and graphics. Reproduction is prohibited other than in accordance with the copyright notice, which forms part of these terms and conditions.
- Unauthorized use of this website may give rise to a claim for damages and/or be a criminal offence.
- DNTT hereby expressly disclaims any implied warranties imputed by the laws of any jurisdiction or country other than those in Nepal.
- You agree and acknowledge that DNTT will have the right of indemnification for any loss that may be caused to DNTT for any misuse of its website by you and DNTT will have all rights to approach any court of law for enforcement of such rights.
2. BOOKING A TRIP:
- A 'trip' refers to any product, itinerary, or activity you purchase with us, including trekking, tours, expeditions, or other adventure and travel programs.
- A booking is accepted and becomes final only when DNTT sends you a confirmation invoice or email. At this point, a binding contract between DNTT and the client comes into existence.
- Until your booking is confirmed and the contract is in effect, DNTT reserves the right to adjust brochure prices, either increasing or decreasing them.
- Please note that DNTT is not liable for any warranties, collateral agreements, prior agreements, service descriptions, or conditions beyond those expressly stated in this document.
3. DEPOSIT REQUIREMENT:
(a) Nepal Trips:
For Nepal Trips, Your booking will be confirmed by email once we receive your deposit of 40% of total trip amount & you can pay the remaining 60% of total trip amount upon your arrival in Kathmandu.
The 40% of total trip amount should be sent to DNTT or its Agent. DNTT’s Tailor Made trips may require a higher deposit or full payment at the time of booking. If deposit is different from that outlined in this clause, you will be advised by DNTT at the time of booking.
(b) India/Tibet/ Bhutan Trips:
Your booking will be confirmed by email once we receive your deposit of 40% of total trip amount with due airfares (if client wants DNTT to arrange it) and remaining before 45 days of trip departure. If you're booking 45 days or less prior to departure, full payment is required at the time of booking.
Payment Methods:
Booking deposit can be made by bank transfer or by Credit Card (Visa or MasterCard). Please follow the information provided on the booking form.

We accept VISA, Maestro, Master, JCB and American express card. You can make payment through credit card directly after chooseing package and follow the Instruction one by one in every package. For a Customized package, we will send you secured payment getway link to make payment for your trip.

Please note that we are not liable of any delay or loss during the transfer process. If in case due to use of mediator bank or any other reasons if the money received by us is less than the amount sent, you are requested upon arrival to pay accordingly so that the total is equivalent to the product cost.
E-mail us the bank reference number or remittance slips after you initiate the transfer. Sometimes bank forwards the money with different name; if we have reference number/remittance slips and sander details, it will be easy for us to check.

4. FINAL PAYMENT/ACCEPTANCE OF BOOKING/CLIENT DETAILS:
(a) Nepal Trips
The final payment for trekking, tours, climbing, expeditions, or any other type of trip in Nepal can be conveniently settled upon arrival. A mandatory 20% of the payment must be made in cash, while the remaining amount (up to 40%) can be paid via bank transfer or credit/debit card (Visa, MasterCard, UnionPay, or American Express).
(b) India/Tibet/ Bhutan Trips:
For trips to India, Tibet, or Bhutan, the final payment must be made at least 45 days before the trip start date. Alternatively, payment can be made upon arrival, provided the corresponding person agrees to accept it.
5. CANCELLATION BY THE CLIENT:
Clients must submit any cancellation requests in writing, and these must be acknowledged by DNTT to be valid. The applicable cancellation charges will be determined based on the date DNTT or its authorized agents receive the written cancellation request.
The cancellation charges are expressed hereafter as a percentage of the total tour price
- Up to 30 days before the “Trip Start Day” a fee of 20%
- 15-29 days before the “Trip Start Day” a fee of 30%
- 7-14 days before the “Trip Start Day” a fee of 60%
- 6 or less days until the “Trip Start Day” and in the event of non-appearance a fees of 90%
- For trip postpone, we will not take any charges
The Client is strongly advised to take out cancellation insurance at the time of making the booking.
Please note that no refunds will be made if you voluntarily leave a trip for any reason after the trip has begun. No refunds will be made for any accommodation, transport, sightseeing, meals or services not utilized.
6. CANCELLATION OF A TOUR BY THE COMPANY:
Destination Nepal Tours & Travels (DNTT) reserves the right to cancel any booked trip, including guaranteed departures, prior to departure due to circumstances beyond its control. These circumstances may include, but are not limited to, natural disasters, flight cancellations, strikes, industrial actions, wars, riots, illness, quarantine, government interventions, adverse weather conditions, or other unforeseen events. In such cases, DNTT will refund the trip price only.
If DNTT cancels a guaranteed departure, you will have the option to either receive a full refund of the trip price or choose an alternative trip of equivalent value.
Please note that significant alterations do not include changes such as airline carriers, flight schedules, or itineraries, provided the departure and arrival dates remain unchanged. Additionally, substitutions of vessels, modifications to itineraries, and changes to cabin categories or hotel accommodations within the same category are not considered significant.
DNTT will not be held liable for any incidental expenses or consequential losses incurred by the client as a result of the booking. These may include costs for visas, vaccinations, non-refundable flights or rail tickets, car parking fees, loss of earnings, or loss of enjoyment, among others.
7. MEDICAL CONDITIONS AND SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Clients must inform Destination Nepal Tours & Travels (DNTT) in writing at the time of booking about any medical conditions, physical challenges, or mental or physical conditions that may affect their fitness to travel. Failure to disclose such information may result in the client being denied travel, and any subsequent cancellation due to undisclosed conditions will incur 100% cancellation fees.
Certain trips may not be suitable for individuals due to factors such as age, mobility, pregnancy, or physical or mental conditions. It is the client’s responsibility to verify the suitability of a trip before booking. DNTT is not obligated to provide special accommodations unless explicitly agreed upon in writing. While DNTT will strive to accommodate special requests, such as dietary needs, these requests are not part of the contract, and DNTT is not liable if they cannot be fulfilled.
Medical facilities and standards of care differ from country to country, and DNTT makes no guarantees or warranties regarding the quality or availability of medical treatment during the trip.
8. TRAVEL INSURANCE:
Adequate and valid travel insurance is mandatory for all travelers. Your insurance must cover accidents, injuries, illnesses (including those related to pre-existing conditions), medical expenses, emergency repatriation (including helicopter rescue and air ambulance, if applicable), and personal liability. DNTT also strongly recommends that your policy includes coverage for trip cancellation, curtailment, and loss of luggage or personal belongings.
You must carry proof of insurance and be prepared to present it upon request by DNTT staff or service providers. DNTT reserves the right to cancel or suspend your participation in a trip, or in specific activities within the trip, at any time, including after the trip has commenced, without any refund, if you fail to provide proof of valid insurance when requested.
9. FLIGHT DELAYS AND CHANGES IN THE ITINERARY:
Please note that mountain adventures are always unpredictable. Bad weather in mountain regions can cause domestic flight delays. In case of delayed domestic flights, Destination Nepal Tours & Travels will meet departing city accommodation (Guest House) and food (Lunch & Breakfast) costs prior to your trip. However in case of delayed return flights, the client is responsible to bear all additional expenses including food and accommodation costs. If you wish to make an alternative arrangements such as Helicopter flight to avoid flight delays, all additional cost would be your responsibility.
Moreover, Destination Nepal Tours & Travels does not accept any responsibility for costs incurred as a result of missed international flight, but would assist to make alternative arrangements wherever possible. Please also note that while on the field, we may have to make some changes in the itinerary due to unforeseen circumstances.
10. TOUR LEADERS
DNTT reserves the right to cancel any tour prior to departure. In this condition, ‘tour leader’ includes both the nominated tour leader and any other nominated person given at any time the task of leading the tour.
Destination Nepal Tours & Travels’ tour leaders take their responsibilities seriously and if for any reason a tour leader believes, in his or her absolute discretion, that you should not participate in the tour, before your departure, he/she may exclude you from the tour. In this event you will be offered the option of taking another tour considered suitable for you or a full refund. If for any reason during a tour the tour leader considers you should not participate further due to you committing an illegal act, or in the opinion of the nominated tour leader, your behavior is causing or is likely to cause danger, distress or annoyance to others, or your fitness or health is inadequate, he or she may direct you not to continue and you must follow the nominated tour leader’s instructions. In this case you will not be entitled to any refund. Travel insurance may compensate you depending on the circumstances.
11. TRIP AMMENDMENT:
If the booking amendment request is received by Destination Nepal Tours & Travels 45 days or more prior to your original trip departure, DNTT will make the necessary amendment without charge. In case you wish to make amendments within 45 days of the trip departure, the cost of amendment may be higher depending upon the company's arrangements with other parties such as hotels, Guest Houses, ground operators or airlines.
12. VISA & PASSPORT:
You must carry a valid passport and have obtained the appropriate visas when traveling with Destination Nepal Tours & Travels Pvt. Ltd. Please ensure your passport is valid for 6 months beyond the duration of the trip. Nepal Visa is available on arrival in Nepal. For Tibet & Bhutan, the company can make necessary arrangements upon request. For India, the client will have to acquire the Visa from their own home country.
All visitors except the Indian nationals must hold passport and valid visa. Visa can be obtained at the Nepalese diplomatic missions and consulates abroad. Visa is also issued at the entry points. It can be extended at the Department of Immigration, Kathmandu. Children under 10 years need not pay any visa fee. People willing to get entry Visa at the airport or any of the land entry points are required to fill a visa form with passport photograph. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are in possession of the correct visas for the countries you are travelling to. Destination Nepal Tours & Travels cannot accept responsibility if you are refused entry to a country or places because you lack the correct visa documentation.
13. ITINERARIES AND BROCHURES
Itineraries and other details are published in good faith as statements of intention only and reasonable changes in the itinerary and related items may be made where deemed necessary or advisable by Destination Nepal Tours & Travels. The information contained in Destination Nepal Tours & Travels’ brochures, itineraries, and internet site is, to the best of Destination Nepal Tours & Travels’ belief, correct at the date of publishing.
14. PROOF OF CITIZENSHIP OR INFORMATION REQUIRED TO TRAVEL
It is your responsibility to obtain proper identification or proof of citizenship as required by the authorities of the destination to which you are travelling. You will not be entitled to a refund if you are denied boarding or entry on any basis, including without limitation, improper documentation or failure to provide information. It is a requirement of many countries that your passport is valid for six months beyond the date of your return home to your home country.
15. UNEXPECTED
If DNTT is prevented (directly or indirectly) from performing any of its obligations under this agreement by reason of act of God, strikes, trade disputes, fire, breakdowns, interruption of transport, government or political action, acts of war or terrorism, acts or omissions of a third party or for any other cause whatsoever outside Destination Nepal Tours & Travels’ reasonable control, DNTT will be under no liability whatsoever to you and may, at its option, by written notice to you either cancel the tour or take any other action as specified in condition
16. ASSUMPTION OF RISK
You acknowledge and agree that:

Due to the nature of adventure travel, including trekking, cycling, and water-based activities, these holidays are more challenging and demanding, with a correspondingly higher level of risk compared to conventional holidays. They may involve potential exposure to injury or even death.

In the countries and regions where adventure travel is undertaken, standards of accommodation, transport, healthcare, hygiene, safety, and service provision may not be as high as those in your country of residence. This may require flexibility and patience on your part.

The additional dangers and risks associated with adventure travel may include difficult or dangerous terrain, high altitude, extreme weather conditions (including sudden and unexpected changes), political instability, remoteness from medical services and communications, and evacuation challenges in the event of illness or injury.

The enjoyment and excitement of adventure travel partially come from the inherent dangers and risks involved. These inherent risks are, in fact, one of the reasons you wish to undertake the adventure tour.

You have submitted your booking for the tour after carefully considering relevant travel information, including, without limitation, any advice or information provided by the governments of Australia, New Zealand, Canada, the British Foreign Office, and the US Department of State. It is your responsibility to familiarize yourself with this information or advice.
For the above reasons, you accept the inherent and increased dangers and risks associated with the proposed adventure tour, as well as the potential for injury, death, or property damage or loss.
17. PRIVACY
You permit DNTT to collect personal information from you, or from your medical practitioner, regarding your health and medical condition. You acknowledge that this personal information may be disclosed to DNTT representatives in order to ensure your safety and well being but will not be used by them for any other purpose.
18. SERVICES MISSED OR UNUSED:
There will be no discounts or monies refunded for missed or unused services, this includes voluntary or involuntary termination/departure from tour, i.e. sickness, death of a family member etc, late arrival on the tour, or premature departure either voluntarily or involuntarily.
19. EXCLUSIONS FROM TOUR PRICE
Without limitation, the following items are excluded from the tour price:
- Personal travel insurance;
- Visa, passport and vaccination charges;
- Extra meals, transport costs, accommodation costs, or other expenses not included in the itinerary; laundry, postage, personal clothing, medical expenses & items of a personal nature; emergency evacuation and/or emergency search charges;
- Optional tours or activities
- Additional expenses caused by delay, accidents or disruption of planned itineraries;
- Tips, onboard beverages and excess baggage charges
20. SEVERANCE OF CONDITIONS
If any part of a condition is illegal, unenforceable or invalid, it is to be treated as removed from the conditions; however, the remainder of the conditions are not altered.
