After arriving in Dhangadi, we'll explore local attractions before settling in for an overnight stay at a comfortable guest house. The bus ride takes around 8-9 hours, passing through picturesque landscapes and local villages like Dandamarku, Sanagaon, Phulaut, and many more. This journey offers a great opportunity to experience the natural beauty and cultural richness of Far-Western Nepal.

We will begin our Khaptad National Park trek from Silgadhi, heading towards the beautiful village of Jhingrana. A 7-8 hour trek brings us to Tamil, a charming stop along the route. From here, we take a scenic drive to Chainpur, the administrative and cultural hub of Bajhang. Upon arrival, we settle into a comfortable tourist-standard hotel, where we can unwind and reflect on the incredible natural beauty and cultural richness of the journey.

Distance: Approximately 320 kilometers (200 miles) (10-12 hrs drive)
Early in the morning, we depart from Chainpur, Bajhang, embarking on a scenic 10–12 hour bus journey to Dhangadhi, one of the major cities in Sudurpashchim Province. Along the way, we make two scheduled stops—one for breakfast and another for lunch, allowing us to refresh and take in the breathtaking landscapes of western Nepal.
The route offers spectacular views of rolling hills, lush forests, and picturesque villages, making it a photographer’s delight. As we descend towards the Terai lowlands, the changing scenery showcases Nepal’s diverse geography.
Upon arriving in Dhangadhi by evening, we check into a comfortable 3-star or tourist-standard hotel, where we can unwind and relax after a long yet mesmerizing journey.
