The highlight of the tour is the 3-day Ghandruk Trek. From Pokhara, you will drive to Phedi, a short one-hour journey. From Phedi, the trek begins, taking you to Tolka after about 5 hours of trekking. You will spend the night in Tolka. The next day, you will trek to Ghandruk, one of the most beautiful and traditional villages in the Annapurna region. The trek takes about 4 hours. Here, you will experience the rich culture of the Gurung people and stunning views of the Annapurna mountains. On the final day of the trek, you will descend to Nayapul and drive back to Pokhara. Best Time to Visit the 10 Days Nepal Tour with Ghandruk Trek

The best time to enjoy the 10 Days Nepal Tour with Ghandruk Trek is during spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November). These seasons offer the most pleasant weather, clear skies, and beautiful scenery, making it ideal for trekking, wildlife activities, and sightseeing.

Spring (March to May)

Spring is one of the best times to visit Nepal. During this season, the weather is warm, and the hills are covered with blooming rhododendrons and other wildflowers. The skies are mostly clear, offering stunning views of the mountains during the Ghandruk trek. Wildlife activities in Chitwan are also more enjoyable, with comfortable temperatures throughout the day.

Autumn (September to November)

Autumn is considered the peak tourist season in Nepal. After the monsoon, the weather becomes cool and dry, with clear blue skies and excellent visibility of the mountain ranges. The temperatures are moderate, making trekking and sightseeing very comfortable. It’s also a great time to enjoy cultural festivals, as many major Nepali festivals like Dashain and Tihar fall during this period.

Winter (December to February)

While winter brings colder temperatures, especially in the higher altitudes, the tour is still possible. The skies are clear, but it can be chilly, especially in the mornings and evenings. If you’re comfortable with colder weather, you can still enjoy the Ghandruk trek, wildlife activities in Chitwan, and sightseeing in Kathmandu and Pokhara. Plus, this is the off-season, so there are fewer crowds.

Monsoon (June to August)

Monsoon season brings heavy rainfall, especially in the southern plains and the hilly regions. Trekking can be challenging due to slippery trails, leeches, and landslides. However, Chitwan and Pokhara have a lush, green landscape during this time. If you don’t mind the rain, you can still take the tour, but it’s best to come prepared for wet weather.

In summary, spring and autumn are the ideal seasons to fully enjoy the 10 Days Nepal Tour with Ghandruk Trek, but with the right preparation, you can visit during other times of the year as well.

If you have a little more time, we offer an 11-day itinerary that provides the same level of adventure as the Ghandruk village trek. This can be a great alternative for you.
